John Cena Admits WWE Fans Bullied Him Into Cosmetic Procedure

John Cena teased the fact that he got a hair transplant before making a full-blown admission that the fans had something to do withit.

The WWE champ appeared on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show one day after besting Cody Rhodes at WresleMania 41 and he wasn't shy about admitting to being bullied into getting a hair transplant.

He joked about taking hair from the side of his head and "planting" them on the top before revealing "it's coming in." He said maybe soon—like in a couple of months—there will be a noticeable difference where the bald spot on the back of his head is gone. After sharing that he "listens to you idiots" while pointing to WWE fans behind him, Cena admitted he was, in fact, bullied into going through with the hair transplant.

"There's another headline for you, hair transplant," Cena said nonchalantly. "There it is. Look at that. I'm dropping it, dawg. There's no shame in that. I got a problem, I tried to fix it. That's what I'm doing."

Cena said he won't reveal who performed the hair transplant until he sees lush locks.

"So, I'm working on it. Work in progress, work in progress," he added.

The 47-year-old said a relentless campaign that unfolded right in front of him was something he couldn't ignore anymore.

"I just saw so many bald spot signs," he said.

Cena said he went through with the hair transplant in November after relentless bullying.

"By the way, thank you for being so aware of my needs and emotions because you guys ripped me to shreds for a genetic problem that I can't control," said Cena while facing the crowd. "... you guys aren't cool to me. I'm in the rumble, trying to win, '[That] man has a bald spot!' Yo, that's not fair. I can't control that. It happens to seven out of 10 dudes."

He continued, "One of you sons of b----es could've pulled me to the side. But in unison, you chant and you make me feel small and you embarrass me. Y'all don't know what that's like. That is straight-up bullying. That's just not cool. That's not cool. Thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement. That's how far y'all pushed me. I appreciate that."
