Tom Cruise Announces He'll Make A Movie With Michael B. Jordan

Tom Cruise and Michael B. Jordan recently linked up at the London premiere for "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning." Apparently, that was just the start of what could be a successful partnership.

For the past few years, Cruise has been labeled the "last movie star" due to his box office success with the "Mission: Impossible" franchise and "Top Gun: Maverick." However, that's a title he doesn't want to accept because he believes actors like Jordan are capable of leading the next generation of Hollywood stars.

Cruise recently showed his support for the cast and crew of "Sinners."  He gave a ton of credit to Jordan and acclaimed director Ryan Coogler.

"Really, he's enormously talented, and what he and Coogler do together... he's a great actor," Cruise told PEOPLE. "He's dedicated to his brand. I really respect him. Respect Coogler, I love that film. I love the films that they make. It's brilliant, you know, big cinema. I admire what they do and I love to see people do well in life."

The "Mission: Impossible" star wasn't done singing Jordan's praises.

Cruise told Entertainment Tonight that he plans on making a movie with Jordan.

"I'm a huge fan of Michael B. Jordan, that film 'Sinners' is amazing," Cruise said. "We’re going to make a movie together."

Although he's 62 years old, Cruise won't have to rush any potential project with Jordan. After all, he said he's never going to retire from acting.

"I will never stop doing action," Cruise declared. "I will never stop doing drama, comedy films. I’m excited."

If Cruise and Jordan find the right script, they could very well produce a box office hit. For now though, they're celebrating each other's success.
