Travis Kelce Has One Oscar-Nominated Film on His Date Night List With Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's date nights always look like fun. Whether they're enjoying fine dining in New York City or hitting up the Stanley Cup Final in Florida, they're having a blast.

But they're not opposed to being homebodies every once in a while and catch, say, a movie. Perhaps a rom-com, and that may soon be on the horizon. During Travis and brother Jason Kelce's New Heights latest podcast, the brothers discussed the next film they're going to review.

They set a bunch of criteria for how they'll pick a movie, but in the end they settled on letting their audience pick one for them, and hopefully one they haven't seen. One movie they floated was the 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. It was directed by Garry Marshall and written by J.F. Lawton.

The idea of reviewing a film that is permanently etched in the pop culture lexicon sounded intriguing, and a film the Kansas City Chiefs star said he and Swift had been eyeing for some time.

"We mentioned Pretty Woman," Travis said. "That's been on me and Tay's movie list for a while. I'm down to watch that."

Pretty Woman is, obviously, a classic. It's also the film that launched Roberts to catastrophic stardom. She'd go on to earn her first Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Hollywood street walker Vivian Ward.

Pretty Woman would be an excellent selection. And hopefully the Kelce brothers end up with a great selection. But who knows. They also considered -- out loud -- Will Smith's 1999 flop, Wild Wild West.
