Costco’s 18-Piece Pyrex Glass Food Storage Set Is Perfect for Meal Prep
Costco is stocked with every kitchen gadget and tool you can imagine, from countertop appliances to kitchen knives to pots and pans sets. One of our favorite culinary standbys, though, is a nice set of food storage containers. Costco carries iconic brand Pyrex, and this particular box has everything you need to meal prep and store and reheat leftovers.
The Snapware Pyrex 18-piece Glass Food Storage Set costs just $35.99, which includes 9 tempered glass containers with 9 BPA-free, airtight, leak-proof lids. The glass containers are freezer, microwave and preheated oven safe up to 450°F. Both the containers and lids are dishwasher safe.
In response to a Reddit thread on Pyrex plastic versus glass food storage sets, one user exclaimed, “Get the glass! The glass ones are life changing compared to every other tupperware you'll have”. Unlike some plastic containers, Pyrex glass is stain-resistant, making cleanup a breeze. These containers are also nestable, meaning they fit nicely inside of each other for ease of storing. We also love that you can use a dry erase marker to write the item name and date on top of the lids, which washes off in the sink or dishwasher for the next use. Just don’t put the lids in the oven, as they aren’t oven-safe. “We use these bowls for EVERYTHING! The lids are phenomenal and the same lids we used 4 years ago are the lids we are using now”, one of the reviewers said. “All the different sizes are well utilized in my house”, said another.
