Joy Taylor Drawing Interest From Popular Podcaster

Former FS1 host Joy Taylor is looking for a new job after her ouster from the network recently and there's at least one podcaster interested in her services.

Taylor, who was with Fox Sports for nearly a decade before the company reportedly decided not to renew her contract, is drawing interest from former NBA star Gilbert Arenas.

Arenas is the host of two popular podcasts, Gil's Arena and No Chill Gil, and recently expressed his interest in Taylor, who he says he has been recruiting for about a year.

“Joy’s a great host,” Arenas said of Taylor. “I know we’re looking at her for the football side. We’ve been behind the scenes talking to her for the last year.”

Arenas also expressed interest in former NFL stars Keyshawn Johnson and LeSean McCoy, and former NBA star Paul Pierce, all of whom had their FS1 shows cancelled in what amounted to a major shake-up for the network.

Johnson and Pierce co-hosted Speak with Taylor on FS1, which was one of three shows cancelled, along with Breakfast Ball and The Facility, the latter of which McCoy co-hosted along with fellow former NFL players Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel and James Jones.

While some of the now-former FS1 hosts have reacted to the news in recent days, Taylor has remained silent on the topic.
