Chuck Norris' Family Speaks Out Against 'Misleading' AI Videos Circulating After His Death

Chuck Norris, a beloved martial arts legend and celebrity, achieved widespread recognition as the lead in Walker, Texas Ranger. His reputation was built on powerful one-liners and his consistent ability to conquer any obstacle, a trait that has since become an enduring social media phenomenon.

But while his legacy has been celebrated in the wake of death last month at 86 years old, there's also been some concerning developments. The family of Norris is now publicly addressing the "fake" AI-generated videos that have emerged in recent weeks.

Chuck Norris’ Family Speaks Out

“We are aware that since Chuck’s passing, there have been a number of AI-generated videos and posts circulating online that contain false and misleading information regarding the circumstances of his passing, his health history, and who was present,” the now-deleted Instagram story said.

“These claims are entirely untrue. This includes fabricated reports of past medical issues, as well as false narratives surrounding family relationships.”

Norris’ family asked fans to “not believe or share any information,” unless it comes directly from them or an “official family representative.”

“Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Norris passed away on March 19, 2026, following a medical crisis that led to his hospitalization while in Hawaii. His family released an official statement honoring him as "the heart of our family," remembering him as a "devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and an incredible brother."

“While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived, and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him,” they expressed on Instagram

“The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends.

“As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time.”

Before his passing, a source told TMZ that the entertainment figure was in “good spirits.”

“Sources with direct knowledge tell us … some medical emergency occurred in the last 24 hours on the island of Kauai that landed Chuck in the hospital. We do not know the nature of the emergency; however, we are told Chuck is in good spirits,” TMZ reported.

The report continued: “Whatever happened must have occurred quickly, because we’re told on Wednesday he was training on the island … a friend of Chuck’s was on the phone with him, and we’re told Chuck was in good spirits and cracking jokes.”

Chuck Norris Last Instagram Post

Just days before his death, Norris celebrated his 86th birthday by posting a video on Instagram showcasing his shadowboxing skills. With a bold declaration of "I don’t age, I level up,” the post was a testament to his vibrant spirit.

“I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m grateful for another year, good health, and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

God bless,

Chuck Norris.”
