'Lupin' Season 4: Netflix Shares Premiere Date for Popular Series
Mark your calendars—a global phenomenon is about to take Netflix by storm. The streaming juggernaut has set a premiere date for the mega-hit series Lupin, almost three years after its most recent season. Starring Omar Sy, the French heist thriller will debut its fourth season later this year, dropping all eight episodes at once for the perfect binge-watch.
Here's the logline per Netflix:
"The global phenomenon is making its grand return! The fourth part of the hit series Lupin will arrive in fall 2026. Omar Sy reprises his iconic role as Assane Diop, the gentleman thief who has captured the hearts of viewers in France and around the world."
In addition to Sy, Lupin Season 4 stars Ludivine Sagnier as Claire Laurent, Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Férel, Soufiane Guerrab as Youssef Guédira, Shirine Boutella as Sofia Belkacem, and series newcomers Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard. The show hails from creator George Kay and was inspired by the works of French author Maurice Leblanc, who created the gentleman thief character Arsène Lupin.
The first season (or Part 1) premiered on Jan. 8, 2021. It skyrocketed to the top spot as the most-watched title in the first quarter of that year. As of writing, Part 1 sits at No. 5 on Netflix's Top 10 Most Popular Non-English Shows. It has 99.5 million views and a whopping 396.3 million hours viewed.
Per Deadline, Season 3 concluded on quite a cliffhanger. "Having faked his death, Assane spent most of Part 3 living in incognito, while pulling off a series of high-stakes thefts in a bid to secure a safe and quiet life for his wife, son, mother, and best friend, before concluding that the only way was to sacrifice himself, and then turning himself in to the police."
Lupin Season 4 (or Part 4, if you please) will premiere on Oct. 23, 2026, only on Netflix.
