Samuel Adams Drops Experimental Collection -- And It Sold Out in 2 Hours
Samuel Adams is hyped for America's 250th birthday, and it turns out beer drinkers feel the same way.
Boston's most famous craft beer released the Brewer Patriot Collection from its vault. Originally released in 2006, Samuel Adams recreated the beers poured in Colonial American taverns. The collection (ABV 5.5%) is based on the original recipes from the Founding Fathers who brewed them:
The George Washington Porter, the James Madison Dark Wheat Ale, the 1790 Hard Root Beer, and the No. 3 Ginger Honey Ale.

Samuel Adams had a limited release on May 28 at GiveThemBeer.com for $17.76. The collection sold out in a staggering two hours.
But you're not completely out of luck if you thirst for these brewskis.
In light of such huge demand, Samuel Adams will drop a limited quantity of additional packs each day at 2:50 p.m. ET until Friday, June 12.
Samuel Adams is also releasing a limited-edition, retro-inspired Star Spangled variety pack featuring a selection of its seasonal classics, such as the Summer Ale. There's also a limited-time exclusive, Blueberry Lager.
The Star Spangled Variety Pack is available nationwide through the summer in 12-pack and 24-pack options.
