It's the perfect addition to any collector's shelves, but it's also an intriguing read for diehard fans of the series.
For one, Matt and Ross Duffer's introduction offers fascinating nuggets of information about the creation of Stranger Things Season 5. They discuss why it felt like the right time to wrap things up, and they share the "north star" they were working toward the whole time: that final scene where Mike and his friends play a game of D&D before going their separate ways. Although some aspects of the last season were added — the vanishing of Holly Wheeler among — the Duffers knew what they wanted that last shot to be. And watching Mike pass the mantle to Holly is a fitting depiction of the show's themes.

Stranger Things might be over, but Stranger Things: The Complete Scripts, Season 5 doesn't rule out "more stories" in this world. And even new releases like this keep the franchise's momentum going, allowing fans to celebrate their love for it again. Netflix will surely find other ways to do that, too, as its first spinoff already debuted back in April. Stranger Things: 'Tales From '85 also returns viewers to the main story to some degree, but The Complete Scripts are even more on the nose about it. And the Season 5 edition is available as of July 14, so fans can officially dive in. It's enjoyable on its own, but it may prompt a rewatch!
