Female WWE Star Reveals Divorce From AEW Star To Fans Through TikTok Comments

Michin, the WWE Superstar formerly known as Mia Yim, posted a TikTok this week of herself learning a routine from professional dancer Seth Hill, captioned with a joke at her own expense about being an athlete. It was a dance video and had nothing to do with her love life.

Then the comments found a different subject.

Michin (FKA Mia Yim) Nonchalantly Announces Divorce From Keith Lee

I swear I’m an athlete. Pro wrestler copies Pro Dancer. @Seth #wwe #magicmikelive

A user asked, in effect, when this had happened. "I ain't know her and Keith (split) where I been at," they wrote. Another commenter stepped in to correct them: the two were still together. Then, Michin herself replied from her verified account: "We are not."

The reply drew more than 200 likes and pulled the thread away from the dancing entirely. It also settled nothing, because not being together and being divorced are not the same claim, and she had only made the first one.

Then a second one came later in another one of her posts.

Under an older post on the same account, a commenter had written that Keith Lee was one lucky man. Another user replied that the two had separated. Michin, seemingly going back to a day-old post just to reply, dropped into that thread with one word.

"**Divorced."

That is the entire announcement. No statement, no post, no interview, no publicist. A correction to a stranger, under a video about dancing, and then a second correction under an older video. The nonchalant announcement has gotten a lot of fans surprised in the comments.

Michin and Keith Lee's Four-Year Marriage Has Ended

Michin and Keith Lee married in February 2022, roughly a year after announcing their engagement, and shortly after both were released by WWE in the same round of cuts. Their relationship had grown out of a friendship built on the independent circuit and in NXT, and fans followed it through two career upheavals: her release and eventual return to WWE, and his long absence from the ring.

Neither has offered a reason, a timeline, or a joint statement. Wrestling News reports that Michin indicated the divorce happened over a year ago, which would mean the marriage ended quietly and stayed private until now.

As of press time, Keith Lee has not responded publicly.

There is a reasonable case that he may not. Lee remains under contract and listed on AEW's roster, per a Fightful Select report from June, but he has not wrestled since December 2023, when he beat Brian Cage on a Holiday Bash edition of Collision.

He was pulled from that year's Worlds End with health issues that have kept him out ever since. He has surfaced occasionally to tell fans he is doing fine, and little else.

Fans are Surprised by the Divorce Announcement

Wrestling fans are used to personal news arriving with production behind it. A promo, a podcast, a statement drafted with a publicist. This arrived as a two-word aside, then a one-word correction, buried under a video about dancing.

The reaction has been less about the divorce than about the delivery. For something so heavy, Michin delivered the news quite nonchalantly. However, some fans claimed that they had guessed as much, as the two have not been seen together in public or online for quite some time.

Michin currently appears on SmackDown, working as a heel alongside B-Fab as enforcers for Jade Cargill.
