Lamine Yamal's Little Brother Wins His Own World Cup Final During Post-Game Celebrations

Despite not being an official Spanish team member, Lamine Yamal's three-year-old brother Keyne became the arguable breakout star of this year's World Cup games.

The toddler has been spotted several times in the crowd cheering on his big bro, picked up on by viewers and football commentators for his animated reactions to the 19-year-old's successes on the pitch. Even in the middle of the game, Yamal has spotted his brother, often carried by his parents or sometimes friends and fellow players, sticking his tongue out at him and having a joyous freak-out.

Keyne is often the first person Yamal greets when the games are over, hanging out with him and the Spanish squad, who have somewhat adopted their biggest fan as one of their own. "My little brother means everything to me," the soccer star recently said (per BBC). "I am in love with him; it feels like he is my son."

The toddler is a frequent fixture on Yamal's TikTok account, taking part in dance trends along with his brother, or cruising alongside him in his miniature toy Mercedes-Benz electric car.

After Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the World Cup final last night — their first win in 16 years — Keyne was, understandably, a key part of the celebrations and their coverage by broadcasters and football fans.

The tot was seen running into Yamal's arms, having been given a clipping of the goal's netting as a souvenir from the match, and was greeted with a big hug from his brother. He then got the chance to hold the coveted golden trophy and played around with New Jersey cops who worked security at the event.

It was one heartwarming moment that surfaced hours after the game; however, that best sums up the World Cup spirit. Keyne was filmed playing his own final with Spain's winger, Nico Williams, who is a close friends of the brothers.

In a video captured by a fan, Williams was seen having a kickabout with Keyne, before taking on the role of goalkeeper for the honorary teammate. Nico did a dramatic fall when the toddler gave a mighty kick towards him, letting the ball surpass him. This gesture was much to the delight of Keyne, who then went on a celebratory lap around the grass, much to the amusement of the player and some nearby New Jersey cops. Aww!
