Tom Holland Says This R-Rated Film Is Zendaya's 'GOAT Role'

All eyes this weekend are on Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which has received remarkable early reviews and currently holds a 96% Rotten Tomatoes critics score as of Thursday.

The film stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and many others.

This marks the first time Holland will star alongside his wife, Zendaya, outside of the Spider-Man franchise.

Zendaya's 'GOAT' Role

With several iconic roles throughout her career, Zendaya has built an impressive resume, but one performance stands out above the rest to Holland, who sat down with Damon and discussed her "GOAT" role.

While Damon had a difficult time choosing his answer, Holland immediately knew his pick: her most recent R-rated film, The Drama, which was released in 2026.

"I know what it is for me," Holland said. "The Drama is my favorite... Yeah, for me it's The Drama. I thought she was sensational."

Damon then gave a deeper answer, explaining why it was such a difficult decision.

"If I don't say Euphoria, my kids are going to go crazy, but she's so wonderful in everything she does," Damon said. "I love her in Dune, I loved her in The Drama... I texted you after that and was like, please tell her she's so great... but that's a tough one."

The Drama was written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, and while the film has received tremendous reviews, it is certainly not for everyone. The movie features several twists and some disturbing moments that may not appeal to all viewers.

"A happily engaged couple is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails," the movie description reads.

Zendaya's Upcoming Films

After the recent conclusion of Euphoria and the release of The Drama and The Odyssey, Zendaya has another busy stretch ahead.

She will next appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which obviously centers around her Holland, and releases on July 31, before Dune: Part Three arrives on Dec. 18 and stars Timothee Chalamet.
